The Wonderful World of Colour

Photo Courtesy: disneydetail.me I'll never forget when I first learned about the rainbow, and colours. I learned that white light contains all colours within it, and when it enters a droplet, it breaks into its component parts, refracting at a slightly different angle, and creating a beautiful rainbow. Wow... such magic. My 8 year old mind exploded.  I still smile like an idiot every time I see a rainbow. I'll even pull over while driving, just so I can sit there in awe and admire it. I’m a bit late to the scene, but let me tell you how I recently got caught up in it.   I knew about K-pop a while ago because of my daughter.  She loves BTS and BlackPink.  I even watched the award-winning movie, Parasite. AI - THE FUTURE OF EVENT MANAGEMENT

Photo Courtesy: freepik.com I live in a Google Household. We've got a GoogleNest, Smart home devices like our thermostat, our doorbell, and even our speakers that are all Google. But we're also an Apple household, everything from our phones, our laptops, and our Apple TV.  Oh, but wait, there's also Alexa alarm clocks in the kids bedrooms.  Ok, ok, so I guess we have multiple devices all over the house.     What's hilarious, and also sometimes frustrating, is when we get the device names confused and say Hey Google, ... Alexa... Siri... stirring them all up... before finally remembering the right one.  We live in a world surrounded by technology, and it's no longer a myth that these devices watch, listen, record, and learn.  Then use our data for a plethora of reasons.   Ever heard of the girl that got a hold of her boyfriend's phone, and proceeded to whisper 'Engagement Rings' multiple times? Red Bull Gives You Wings

Something fun to mark my quarter century celebration.   So, I called up a friend and made plans to go Hot Air Ballooning.  What an exhilarating adventure that was..  and... I was hooked!  I made a promise, that at least once a year, I would treat myself to a new experience.  It was one of those moments in life, that shaped the years to come.     So here i was, an experience junkie.  Im talking anything from watching a live show recording, parasailing, kayaking, concerts, tour of Casa Loma, high tea, a macrame class, snorkelling ... the list keeps going... and I was always on the lookout for new things to do. Barbie - Brilliant or Bogus

The Barbie Movie - is there anyone who hasn't seen it or at least heard of it?  The only way you would've missed it, is if you were hiding under a rock.  This movie came and hit everyone like a giant hot pink tsunami. There wasn't a man, woman, or child I know that didn't get swept up in the Barbie phenomenon.   Although the movie was not loved by everyone, there is no denying that the marketing for this movie was a phenomenon worthy of recognition.  I mean, this movie was everywhere and everyone was going to watch it, including my 20 year old nephew.  I remember asking him, what would get him interested in Barbie. That's when I learned, all his friends were going to watch the "Barbenheimer", a portmanteau coined together, where movie goers first watch the Oppenheimer movie and then the Barbie, making the lighter tone of the Barbie a palette cleanser to the intensity of Oppenheimer.   So whether it was nostalgia, FOMO, or hype,...
